Artefill®
in Indiana
Artefill® is made of PMMA (poly-methylmethacrylate) microspheres mixed with collagen in a gel-like suspension. It is the only injectable filler approved by the FDA as a non-absorbable filler, meaning that unlike the other fillers it will not be absorbed by your body over time.
Since we do continue to age, nothing is truly permanent, but Artefill® results are expected to last two to five years. The downside to the permanent nature of Artefill® is that if it is injected too close to the surface, it may create a noticeable irregularity. To avoid this problem, Artefill® is recommended only for folds that require a deeper injection, such as the depressions at the corners of the mouth and the folds between the cheeks and upper lips.

The estimated total cost for an Artefill injection is $1,200 per large syringe and $600 for a 1/2. In the case of multiple procedures, a discount may be applied. The exact cost can for Artefill Injections can only be determined after a consultation with Dr. Fata and the $50 consult fee will be deducted from the total.
